 Supporting local small businesses is key to creating well-paying jobs and fostering a thriving, inclusive economy. By advocating for fair policies and resources that help small businesses grow, Dean is committed to building a local economy that works for everyone, where success is shared, and every family has a stake in our city's prosperity. 

We need to bring down the cost of housing by facilitating new construction. And we must incentivize home ownership that allows individuals to sink deep roots in the community, stabilize their living situation and costs, and build equity over the long term.

Well-maintained parks and green spaces that we can enjoy with our friends and families, great business districts for shopping locally, and spaces for the arts and entertainment are central to our quality of life in the city. We need good streets, sidewalks, and transportation systems so that everyone can enjoy these amenities.

 Transparency and accountability are essential to ensuring that city government serves the people effectively. By fostering a culture of accountability, Dean will work to ensure that resources are used wisely, and that every resident's voice is not only heard but respected. Dean believes that open, honest government builds trust and strengthens the connection between city leaders and the people they serve.
